Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Psychologist to join our team on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract commencing in May 2024 to cover a period of leave.
The purpose of this role is to apply psychological expertise to support students to achieve cognitive, emotional, social, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
The School Psychologist provides counselling for students to complement and enhance the work of teachers to strengthen student learning and wellbeing outcomes. This role links closely with the broader Pastoral Care Team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional who enjoys working in a small team.
You will:
- Be a Registered Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
- Have eligibility for membership with the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS)
- Have relevant experience in operational and/or organisational roles.
- Be willing to participate in the co-curricular life of the School.
- Have an ability to hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
