AFL Queensland, in conjunction with QGSSSA, launched the inaugural Senior Australian Football competition in 2022. Students from Year 7 to Year 12 are able to play AFL, with competitions played over four Saturday mornings. St Aidan’s is very competitive across all divisions and in 2022 the Year 9 team finished the season undefeated. Our Junior School girls are also exposed to AFL, having the opportunity to play at various times throughout the year.
